Piotr Walczak

A physician by training, a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland, he was fascinated by the power of regenerative medicine very early in his career. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of South Florida in stem cell therapy for brain repair, and then completed a molecular imaging fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving the efficacy and precision of delivering cells and drugs to the brain using small and large animal models. Piotr's goal is to turn his discoveries into products and services helping patients suffering from deadly neurological diseases, including stroke, brain tumors, and ALS. Outside work, Piotr's passion is nature and outdoor activities.
